The property: This modern house gives a great level of comfort, with every modern convenience. There is only one floor. The kitchen is completely equipped, with all cooking ustensils, dishwasher, washing machine, tumble dryer, microwave, fridge/freezer. A stone bar separates the kitchen from the sitting room. There are three bedrooms (2 double bedrooms and a twin bedroom) and a shower room with a double lavabo. From the sitting room, by French windows, you have access to a covered terrace, a very pleasant place to eat and rest, and to the swimming pool equipped with a security cover and a solar heated shower, with wooden garden furniture. Sheets and towels are provided and included in the price . The beds are very comfortable and equipped with duvets and covers, and will be made up before your arrival. Baby's chair and cot are available on request, with covers and sheets. |

Outside Area: This house is situated near a lovely little village without any shops. Around is a nice landscape garden with hedges. On one side you can see the roofs of the village, the bell tower of the church, and the petanque court, and on the other side a great meadow and woods. It is a quiet and peaceful place on the pilgrimage of Saint-Jacques de Compostelle with an excellent choice of varied walks through beautiful countryside. |

Surrounding Area: Shops, supermarkets, cafés, restaurants and doctors are in Montcuq, about 15 minutes by car. Cahors is 18 kms away. Montcuq is a picturesque village always appreciated by English tourists. There are weekly markets in Cahors, Castelnau Montratier and Montcuq, where you can find fresh local products. The truffle market of Lalbenque every Tuesday in winter is very famous. You may visit fascinating places such as Cahors, Figeac, Lauzerte, Rocamadour, Saint-Cirq-Lapopie, prehistoric caves, castles, museums, have a tour on river Lot, and last but not least enjoy a region which is famous for gastronomy, wine, markets, rivers and valleys. There are activities, such as horse riding, fishing, caving, walking, petanque, canoeing. White stone houses are typical in this area called "Quercy blanc" because of its rolling white limestone countryside. People are quiet, hospitable, and helpful. |
