Surrounding Area: Fréjus is ideally situated for exploring the wonderful sights of the French Riviera, being within easy reach of St Tropez, Cannes, Monaco and Monte Carlo. The old Roman town itself has an amphitheatre and a wonderful cathedral. St Raphael has a good shopping centre and splendid beaches. It has the main railway station for the whole of the region. Inland skiing is about 180 miles away and the Italian border is only 80 miles. Golf is just one mile. Winter and Spring is an excellent time for getting about. The beach is only 1.5 kms away. |
