Because the house is the top one in the village, the first floor bedroom balcony has uninterrupted views across the red roofs of the village to the plain of Roussillon and the Mediterranean.

Outside Area:  The roof terrace, entirely private and enclosed, is the top viewing point in the village. The views are spectacular in all directions  - the Mediterranean, Spain, the Albères, the Massif du Canigou, the plain of Roussillon and the village itself. There are loungers, table, chairs, BBQ and electric points on the roof terrace. In front of the house is the church terrace.

Surrounding Area:  On the doorstep are many wonderful walks with more ambitious walks including the Pic du Canigou and the GR10 slightly further afield. Details in the house to make it all easy to find. Also nearby cycling, horse riding, canoeing, ski-ing etc. One hour’s drive to the beach or to Spain. 40 minutes to markets at Céret, Amelie les Bains and others. At Céret an excellent modern art gallery with works by Picasso, Matisse, Chagal etc. Visit Collioure on the coast where many artists, including the Fauvistes came to paint and Figueras for the Dali museum. Prades where Pablo Casals came to escape Franco and make music. Visit the Cather castles. Or enjoy gastronomic Catalan food and the vineyards of Roussillon and Corbières.
