There is a Plan d'Eau complex nearby: Les Lacs de Saint Jean pla de Corts, 15 minutes walk away. Pathways around the lake are good for walking and cycling. The other lake offers fishing. Horse riding is available just along from the Lakes.

5 km from Céret; 30 minutes/23km from Perpignan - the French Catalan capital; 25 minutes from the Mediterranean and the coastal resorts of Collioure, Banyules, Port Vendres and many more; 30 minutes from the Pyrénées; 11/2   hours from the ski resort of Font Fomeu; 15 minutes to the Spanish Border and 1 hour from Gerona and 2 hours from Barcelona. Céret, famous for its cherries, is the home to many festivals, exhibitions and events, Céret's market on Saturday is a busy, well frequented one, full of local produce and crafts. Picasso's works can be viewed at the Art Moderne in Céret. An Internet Cafe in Céret offers reasonably priced Internet & Wireless access.
