The property:  The villa is situated among orchards and vineyards in a quiet location on the edge of the village of St Nazaire, about 8 kms from Narbonne, close to the Canal du Midi. Access is from a quiet country road into the villas large private courtyard and secure parking.
Accommodation
The accommodation is self-contained on the ground floor of the villa and can sleep up to 8 people in 1 double room, 1 twin room, and 1 double room with 2 bunk beds. The double (Chinese Room) has its own private shower, washbasin and WC which is immediately adjacent to the bedroom. The twin (Blue Room) has en- suite shower, toilet and wash basin, as does the Pine Room. A bed settee is also available in the large (8m x 5m) Lounge / dining room area and this has access to a shower and WC without having to enter a bedroom. Bed linen and towels are provided. Beach umbrellas, mats, iceboxes and picnic equipment are available. The dinning room/lounge area is furnished with a bar, colour television with BBC digital programmes and a VCR with a small library of tapes. There are 2 settees 2 dining tables and plenty of chairs and storage space. The kitchen is fully equipped with fridge, separate freezer, and electric cooker with oven, grill and ceramic hob and a microwave. Clothes washing and drying facilities are in the utility room on the same floor.

Outside Area: A large patio door leads to a barbecue area and sitting space provided with a table, umbrella and chairs. There is a garden and another large patio at the side of the house, which gets the sun all day. The pool, which is 5 metres octagonal plunge pool is lovely for cooling off and is very safe for children as the steps, can be removed. There is also a pagoda by the pool, which gives welcome shade and a changing room with shower and toilet (not available in winter). There is a large courtyard in front of the house, which is walled with a locking gate, gives secure parking for 3 - 4 cars. 

Surrounding Area: The villa is on the edge of St Nazaire which has restaurants, mini market, baker, newsagent, and post office. We have 2 super markets within 1 km. There is a pharmacy and baker and news agent. A clinic with 4 doctors , 2 speaking English, and a Dentist who also speaks English about 2 kms away. We are within walking distance of the Midi Canal which is good for quiet walks away from the traffic.

Other comments: This property is also available for summer holiday rentals.

Pricing Info: £500 per month for long winter lets. On a 1 month booking a deposit of £250 is payable to confirm the booking. If the let is over 1 month a deposit of 1 month’s rent is due. These deposits are fully returnable if there is not damage at the end of the stay. Monthly payments are due in full at the beginning of the month. Electricity is by meter reading on arrival and at the end of each month or the end of the stay.
