The property: 17th century village house, very welcoming, airy with local antique furniture and warm coloured fabrics. The house has 2 bedrooms on the first floor and two others on the second floor.

The wood panelling through lounge, twisted oak beams, terracota flooring and furnishing, make downstairs romantic and atmospheric. It has a period fireplace, sofa bed, two antique bergeres and two Spanish chairs, television, tape/CD player and 18th century cupboard.

Dining area, with antique refectory table and 6 Savoie chairs.

Newly modernised, fully equipped fitted kitchen, incorporated cooker, fridge freezer, washing machine, dishwasher, microwave, toaster, kettles, coffee machine, etc.

First floor:
Beautiful master bedroom, with very large fitted mirrored wardrobe and brass double bed. There is a view over the village and the distant Pyrénées.

Luxurious Provencal bathroom with bath and separate shower, two sinks and WC.

Additional large fitted wardrobe/cupboard in the mezzanine.

Second bedroom: antique bed and fitted cupboard, antiques desk and chair. View over the hills.

Second Floor:
2 large twin rooms, furnished with fitted wardrobes and additional fitted cupboard in the mezzanine. One of the two rooms has a beautiful view over the village, the castle and the distant Pyrénées, the other bedroom over the hills.

There is a large terrace, with table, chairs and barbecue, with a lovely view over the hills.

Outside Area: There is a landscaped garden with fig trees, cherry tree and flower beds. The large secluded terrace is outside the kitchen. There is a fence and gate leading to the private parking area for 4-5 cars.

Surrounding Area: There is a Ferme-auberge (farmer in the village cooks his own products i.e. lamb, duck, chicken, etc and his restaurant is open most nights and the weekend). A potter, sells his own work, and gives demonstrations. There is a Snackbar/fast food café adjacent to the pottery. The local baker comes every morning with bread, croissants and pastis.

Morlanne is on the pilgrim way of Saint Jacques de Compostelle and some walkers pass through.

The village is on the well known sign posted walk “le chemin d’Emilie”.

“Peindre Morlanne” painting competition, the first weekend of September, where international artists compete.

Farms in the area offer horseriding parties.

Arzacq - 7 km - supermarket, several boulangeries, butchers etc, good selection of restaurants. Museum of the jambon where one can buy succulent pates, hams, saucissons, etc. Swimming pool, sport centre, etc.

Moulin de Garos - visit this old mill and buy flour and cakes.

Le marche potier - exhibition of local potteries of Bouillon and Garos.

Château de Momas - visit of the chateau; the garden grows rare or forgotten vegetables. Visits every weekends in the Summer.

Lac de l’Auguelongue - 4 km - walking around the lake, fitness trail, nature reserve.

Lourdes - 1 hour - Pilgrimage center.

Pau - 25 km - Chateau, casino, concert halls, hypermarkets, sizeable shopping centres, leisure centres, swimming pools, etc.

St. Jean de Luz - 1 hour - fishing port.

Biarritz - 1 hour - famous seaside resort.
