Surrounding Area: There is a Ferme-auberge (farmer in the village cooks his own products i.e. lamb, duck, chicken, etc and his restaurant is open most nights and the weekend). A potter, sells his own work, and gives demonstrations. There is a Snackbar/fast food café adjacent to the pottery. The local baker comes every morning with bread, croissants and pastis.
Morlanne is on the pilgrim way of Saint Jacques de Compostelle and some walkers pass through.
The village is on the well known sign posted walk “le chemin d’Emilie”.
“Peindre Morlanne” painting competition, the first weekend of September, where international artists compete.
Farms in the area offer horseriding parties.
Arzacq - 7 km - supermarket, several boulangeries, butchers etc, good selection of restaurants. Museum of the jambon where one can buy succulent pates, hams, saucissons, etc. Swimming pool, sport centre, etc.
Moulin de Garos - visit this old mill and buy flour and cakes.
Le marche potier - exhibition of local potteries of Bouillon and Garos.
Château de Momas - visit of the chateau; the garden grows rare or forgotten vegetables. Visits every weekends in the Summer.
Lac de l’Auguelongue - 4 km - walking around the lake, fitness trail, nature reserve.
Lourdes - 1 hour - Pilgrimage center.
Pau - 25 km - Chateau, casino, concert halls, hypermarkets, sizeable shopping centres, leisure centres, swimming pools, etc.
St. Jean de Luz - 1 hour - fishing port.
Biarritz - 1 hour - famous seaside resort.
