The property: The superbly appointed open plan kitchen has 3 metre double patio doors opening onto a south facing gardens and terrace. It is covered with a large remote control awning, which offers a welcome shaded area during the day. The kitchen has been meticulously furnished and equipped with a large 5 burner range cooker, plus two dishwashers and a two large kitchen tables with seating for up to 14 people, where you can enjoy your freshly baked croissants! We have everything you would expect to find in the kitchen including a washing machine, microwave and a huge stainless steel '700' wide fridge freezer - (very important!) lots of large serving dishes, crockery and cutlery so there will be no shortage when cooking a large family meal. The large airy sitting room has a projector TV displayed on a huge motorised screen that drops down from the ceiling. For an optional extra you can enjoy the full sky packages including: movies, children’s and sports. Relax in one of the large leather sofas and enjoy the 'home cinema' experience or just relax with a glass of wine and a good book! (A huge library of excellent books supplied!!!) or plug in your iPod to the excellent Sony surround sound system and indulge just for a little while, listening to your favourite artist! In the large play room the little ones will find train sets, dressing up clothes with princess slippers and shoes to keep them entertained as well as lots more toys, videos, books. They can 'chill out' on the comfortable sofa or bean bags and watch one of the Disney classics (which are all supplied!) whilst you relaxing in the sitting room! La Mirabelle has five bedrooms, 2 masters, 1 twin/double and 1 triple bedroom with bunk beds and single bed and 1 quadruple bedroom with two sets of bunk beds. All bedrooms have been finished and decorated to a very high standard and all beds have excellent comfortable mattresses. |

Outside Area: The huge pool area is surrounded by decking and grassed area with plenty of sunloungers for sunbathing where the whole family can relax and enjoy themselves. The large heated PRIVATE swimming pool measures 10m x 5m with the HEATED toddler pool next to it. The whole pool area is within a fully enclosed walled area only accessible by lockable gates (which the parents have the keys for!) In the large garden the kids will just love the children’s play area with swings, slide and sandpit. You will also be delighted with the large chimney style barbecue which cooks food to perfection! Overlooking the gardens, there is a decked area leading from the patio doors with a motorised awning for dining outside. There is ample parking and secure gates at the front of the property. |

Surrounding Area: In the village of St Benoist Sur Mer you have the wonderful restaurant/bar 'le lapin que fume' which serves lunch and evening meals. Only a 5 minute stroll, it 's also a great chance for the kids to practice their French each morning as it sells fresh baguettes. La Mirabelle is under a 3 minute drive from the lovely village of Angles. Located so close to the village of Angles you can visit in the evenings and have a choice of great restaurants. You will also find a comprehensive folder in the gîte listing restaurants, activities and local events, as well as plenty of ideas for entertaining the children. There is a huge write up of over 20 local restaurants that we recommend with the kids and if you want some 'adult time' we also supply the baby-sitting too! Angles has its own Office de Tourisme, as well as a post office, two banks, a hairdresser, a beauty salon, an aromatherapist, a pharmacy, five cafés/bars and four restaurants. There are also two supermarkets, two butchers, a fishmonger and a fruit & vegetable shop. The large fishing port of l'Aiguillon is just 10 minutes away. Early risers can choose from a range of freshly-caught fish, mussels, oysters, langoustine and gambas at the town's fish market which is open every weekday at 5am. Those who prefer a lie-in can sample the seafood later in the day at one of the many wonderful fish restaurants in the town. Whether you're an experienced cyclist or a leisure rider, this area has plenty of surprises in store for you. all along the 'Loire a Velo' signposted bike trial, you can marvel at the stunning Loire countryside, visit châteaux’s & Abbeys, stroll through quaint little towns & cycle through vineyards for over 110 miles! The Val de Loire Vineyards Tourist Trail France is one of Europe's most popular golfing holiday destinations. It has over 25 of the Top 100 golf courses in Europe - and many golfers are now choosing to play in France rather than the traditional Spanish golf resorts. French golf courses are of an exceptionally high standard, are competitive and are well managed. We have 5 excellent course within easy reach! |

Pricing Info: Prices are based on one family sharing. 50% deposit and a months rent in advance as security deposit is required at the time of booking with the remaining 1st months balance due 8 weeks prior to arrival. Each month’s rent is then due the first day of each month paid in local currency. Duvet and pillows are supplied, towels on hire. Water and electricity metered and due at the end of each calendar month. Long lets are available from October to May. |
