Surrounding Area: Labarthe-Bleys is a 25 house hamlet, 3km away from the nearest supermarket and boulangerie in Les Cabannes, whilst 5km away is the famous bastide town of Cordes-sur-Ciel with its supermarket, post office, bars etc. Albi and Gaillac are 25km away with excellent restaurants and hypermarkets. 

Cordes is a mediaeval town finished in the early 14th Century and has lovely narrow streets and an amazing history, whilst today it is famous for its arts community. Albi, the head of the department is a majestic city with its Cathedral and Toulouse-Lautrec museum. This area is steeped in history and culture.

There is also plenty of walking, horseriding, cycling, river swimming and other country side activities.
