The village is on the Canal du Midi, which has been designated a Word Heritage Site by UNESO. Within 30 minutes drive, there is the Languedoc National Park.

There are various beaches & ports within 20-30 mins drive from the village, where all watersports are available. Other leisure pursuits in the locality include hill climbing, cliff diving, canoeing & potholing. There are also countless walking & cycling tracks, many of which start from the village.

The area is steeped in culture, and the large towns of Béziers & Narbonne (15km) both have beautiful churches, art galleries & museums. You can also be across the border to Spain within an hour, and there are various ski resorts within 2 hours of the house.
