Surrounding Area: There is a great range of activities to do in the area from sports to gentler pursuits.

The countryside is superb for walking, part of the famous pilgrimage route to Santiago de Compostella passes nearby. The Pyrénées are easily accessible for days trips for skiing and walking. The car journey to the nearest ski resort is about two and a half hours. Whether you want to do a day’s walking or take a gentle stroll Blasi is perfectly situated.

Cycling is a passion in this part of France. The rolling countryside is ideal for the enthusiast or for exploring. Bicycles can be provided on request. The spectacle of the Tour de France in July is something that should not be missed as it passes through the region.

Within a few minutes of the house there is an excellent equestrian centre at Lauzerte with riding for all levels of experience catered for. There is good fishing in the numerous nearby lakes and rivers.

There is a 9 hole golf course at Sauveterre, of 5244 metres in a wooded valley with water hazards and suitable for players of all standards.

Tennis can be played on the courts at Cazes Mondenard. You can then have a post match discussion at one of several good local cafés and restaurants.

A really worthwhile trip is by kayak or canoe through the dramatic and beautiful scenery of the Gorges of  Averyon at  St Antonin de Noble Val. Take a picnic and enjoy the gentle rapids and the long relaxing stretches of the river. Take in all the wildlife and why not go for a swim? There is also a good water sports centre at St Nicholas de la Grave, with canoes, boats and pedalos for hire, or why not stroll along the banks of the Tarn and Garonne rivers and enjoy the diversity of bird and wildlife?

If you’re feeling really adventurous and energetic why not learn to parachute at Bouloc or learn to fly a glider at Moissac. On the ground, why not go quad biking?

A little more down to earth, and you can visit caves, châteaux, and beautiful gardens.

For all ages, there is motor biking, kart cross and quad biking at club PW50 at Lafrancaise. There is a large open air swimming pool with slide at the Vallee de Loisirs in Lafrancaise. If you fancy a beach you will find one at  Montagu de Quercy or at Montcuq. There are several farm parks nearby and you can see Paris at Petit Paris in Montauban.

For an action packed day out you can visit the attractions at the Walibi theme park near Agen.

If this all sounds far too much, then why not stay and relax at Blasi and enjoy the view and take a well earned dip in the pool, maybe after a taxing game of boules.
