The property: The apartment has been completely renovated in a modern style with all necessary appliances to make your stay enjoyable. It has one bedroom with a queen size bed and a living room with a double sofa bed. There is a full size eat-in kitchen with dishwasher, washing machine/dryer, microwave, oven etc.

There are three metro stations in close proximity to the apartment and most attractions are an easy walk. There is also a bus right outside the door, which can take you to Gare Montparnasse, Gare de Lyon and Bastille. Opposite is a supermarket for all your essentials and on the ground floor is a boulangerie for breads, pastries and cakes.

All linen including sheets, pillowslips, towels and tea towels is provided.

There is central electric heating in every room plus a towel heater in the bathroom.

The kitchen has all the utensils for gourmet cooking plus a full compliment of pots and pans, crockery, coffee cups, glassware, cutlery, placemats etc. There is also a kettle, teapot, coffee maker and electric toaster.

Surrounding Area: The Latin Quarter is a very vibrant area with many restaurants, cafés and boutiques. It is an area where Parisians live but an easy walk or bus/metro ride to all major attractions. Attractions close by include the famous Jardin des Plantes botanical gardens; Manufacture des Gobelins depicting the history of tapestry and carpet weaving from the 17th century; Arènes de Lutèce roman amphitheatre; rue Mouffetard, the oldest street in Paris and market street for wine, cheese, bread, flowers etc, the Pantheon; and Jardin du Luxembourg.

At the top of rue Mouffetard is the Place de la Contrescarpe and the homes of Ernest Hemingway and René Descartes, the philosopher who developed the principal of ‘I think, therefore I am’.

Attractions such as the Seine, Louvre, Notre Dame etc can be reached by an easy 20 minute stroll.

Paris is a city best seen on foot.
