The cottage also has gas central heating, satellite TV, DVD and CD players. There is a private garden to the rear of the property, with views of the surrounding fields and parking space for two cars at the front. The property was built in 1800’s as a barn and was converted to a cottage about thirty years ago. Since then it has undergone further improvements to provide a comfortable and stylish interior.

Outside Area: The property has a private rear garden with views of the surrounding countryside. Garden furniture and BBQ are provided. 

Surrounding Area: The nearest village is 2 kms away, with a bakers, bar and post office. The small town of Ceauce is the same distance. This provides all amenities, including a small supermarket and bank.

Normandy offers visitors the opportunity to experience a variety of cultural and oudoor activities. Southern Orne has many places of historical interest, as well as being within easy reach of popular tourist destinations such as Mont St. Michel, the D Day landing beaches and Bayeaux. Locally you will find châteaux, museums and historic towns to explore. There are plenty of sports to enjoy, such as cycling along forest trails, canoeing, horse riding, golf, fishing, tennis and also country walks.

Brittany to the west is only an hour’s drive away, with its rugged coastline and pretty villages. The Loire Valley to the south is within driving distance to explore the famous châteaux and visit the many ‘caves’ to taste wine.

Pricing Info: The price per calendar month is exclusive of utilities and logs for the wood burner. The costs incurred for the use of the telephone and internet are payable by the tenant. A deposit of 25% of the total rental is required to confirm your dates, payable at the time of booking. This is returned at the end of the tenancy on receipt of the full term’s rent and the settlement of all bills. If the booking is cancelled before commencement, this deposit is forfeited. A security/damage deposit of £200 / 250 Euros is required with the first month’s rent on the day of arrival. This will be returned less any expenses within 14 days of vacating the property.
