The cottage also has gas central heating, satellite TV, DVD and CD players. There is a private garden to the rear of the property, with views of the surrounding fields and parking space for two cars at the front. The property was built in 1800’s as a barn and was converted to a cottage about thirty years ago. Since then it has undergone further improvements to provide a comfortable and stylish interior.

Surrounding Area: The nearest village is 2 kms away, with a bakers, bar and post office. The small town of Ceauce is the same distance. This provides all amenities, including a small supermarket and bank.

Normandy offers visitors the opportunity to experience a variety of cultural and oudoor activities. Southern Orne has many places of historical interest, as well as being within easy reach of popular tourist destinations such as Mont St. Michel, the D Day landing beaches and Bayeaux. Locally you will find châteaux, museums and historic towns to explore. Brittany to the west is only an hour’s drive away, with its rugged coastline and pretty villages. The Loire Valley to the south is within driving distance to explore the famous châteaux and visit the many ‘caves’ to taste wine.

A security/damage deposit of £200 / 250 Euros is required with the first month’s rent on the day of arrival. This will be returned less any expenses within 14 days of vacating the property.
