Outside Area: Pic Vert is surrounded by it’s own pretty enclosed garden, has roses round the door, patio, lawn and flower beds with beautiful views towards the tree lined walk to the River Dive. Sitting in our 40 acres, you will see many birds and animals that frequent our land. Paths are cut around the river and fields for gentle strolls. One visitor described it as “a magical place with fantastically equipped gîte, France’s best kept secret”. Another, “it is such a beautiful place, like living in a painting.”

Surrounding Area: Pic Vert nestles in a fantastic location in this unspoilt region of France yet is within 30 minutes drive of Poitiers with it’s airport and TGV station. There are masses of opportunities on offer for your enjoyment in the surrounding area. Markets, walking, cycling, fishing, horse riding, canoeing, golf, architecture, cinemas etc. The small market towns of Vivonne and Couhé are 10 minutes drive away with their range of shops, restaurants, banks, doctors, dentists, vets etc. Being in the second sunniest area of France, what more can you want!
