Surrounding Area: The property is set amid grapevines and most of the chateaux have wine tastings. Duras is the nearest town with a good supply of supermarkets, banks, bakers, butchers, hairdressers. For those who prefer a larger town Marmande, St Foy le Grand and Bergerac  are within easy distance, as is the airport at Bergerac (30 minutes). There are excellent golf courses, tennis courts at St Sernin (2 km away), horseriding and canoeing on the Dordogne.  There is also plenty of scope for walking and cycling.
