Attic: beautiful family room with skylight, floor level window, 1 double and 2 single beds, en-suite with toilet, basin and multifunction shower, television point.

The roof is tiled in the local Roman manner. Outside woodshed.

Outside Area: Not part of the property, but easily accessible and little used, is a lovely picnic area behind the Donjon with flowering shrubs, picnic bench and views to the North. The road at the front is very quiet, and the neighbours sit outside to catch the sun and chat.

Surrounding Area: The town of Aurignac is surrounded by wooded hills with paths and nature trails, and including the prehistoric type-site for the Aurignacian period. There are two bakers, two butchers, two general stores, two bars, a pizza shop, a chemist, a bank, a wine store and a superbly well-stocked greengrocer, each within five minutes’ walk of the house. Tuesday is market day. Other facilities include a municipal lido, tennis courts, doctor, dentist, 24-hour petrol station, a post office and a tourist information centre. The nearest ski resort of Luchon is about an hour’s drive to the south. The nearest large town (with a Leclerc supermarket on the approach road) is Saint-Gaudens, twenty minutes’ drive away.
