We have installed on each floor a bathroom with a separate shower. In this way hoping to be able to provide accommodation to suit your budget!

As you enter the main hallway, there is a door that leads to the garage / utility room, which also has a separate toilet. From the hall way another door leads to an open plan lounge, kitchen & dining area. Above which is a mezzanine room with electric veluxs’ through which you can enjoy the view of the surrounding countryside. There is a separate entrance to both the front and rear of the property. The rear entrance leads to a separate boiler-house and an enclosed (50ft), safe, area for kids to play, or may be used for barbeques etc. Newly installed; electric wiring, throughout, (English plugs are accessible in each room of the house), new plumbing and a new oil fired boiler. A newly installed septic tank.

Outside Area: This Town-House sits on a plot of several house (La Chaussee), with open fields all around. A magnificent Chateau being in prominence at the top of the lane. Two streams run across the main drive to the property. The drive-in has now been divided, principally to allow parking and access to two neighbours properties on the site, but also, to make  a car free area to take advantage of the sun from this aspect of the property. Therefore outdoor table and chairs are available here.

Surrounding Area: Aumale is ideally located for the long or short breaks to France, or even journeying further down to the south of France. The journey via the (A16), motorway is quick from the ports of Bolougne 1.5hrs & Calais 2hrs. However, Newhaven –Dieppe is the preferred option being only 50mins away, and the 4hr crossing gives you a chance to really rest! New motorway links, just 3 miles away, mean that historic towns like Rouen (47mins, 76Km) and Amiens (45mins,48Km) via the A28/29 are easier to explore. Paris is similarily just ( 2hrs, 200Km) away via Rouen or Beauvais(,1hr, 53Km). Beauvais has an airport .

Ebenezer Mansions, is conveniently situated to get to Aumale town centre. A country road behind the house will take you on a scenic route all the way into the town - which is a beautiful, very French town-with lots of interesting little shops and Restaurants, as well as numerous patisseries! There is also a Tourist information office there to keep yourself updated as to what is going on. This is normally open in the mornings during the peak season and only for an hour or two off-season here is a market held most days.
There seems to have been a deliberate choice to place the only supermarket (Bricomarche) just outside town. Opposite it, is a small DIY centre and garden cente. There is a sports centre in the town. During the summer we found an archery club just near the two lakes and three miles in the direction of Haudricourt we located a delightful horse riding school-who have been more than willing to take on the novice rider!

Pricing Info: From £600 per month if using only 3 bedrooms on the ground floor plus mezzanine. Or £1000 per month if using all 6 bedrooms. In order to make the home appealing to all types of families we’ve tried to be flexible in the rates charged. These rates are only applicable from October to April. However, I feel we can offer a further discount to people planning to stay longer. The rates also do not include any of the utilities, such as water, electricity and  telephone, or oil used for the oil fired boiler. If a contract needs to be drawn up. Each party will be expected to pay their own costs. For stays of longer than a month we would need to have both bank statements and will need to seek references.
