Fishing is a popular pastime, due to the many lakes and rivers in the region. Walkers and cyclists enjoy the many signposted routes through the countryside and forest tracks. Horse riding, rock climbing and canoeing are also available locally.

The famous spa town of Bagnoles de l’Orne offers a wide variety of sporting facilities, including golf, tennis and swimming, as well as thermal treatments. Water sports are available on the lake at La Ferté Macé, which also has an indoor swimming pool.

There is also a large number of places of historical interest to visit locally, including medieval chateaux, museums and abbeys. The D-Day landing beaches and Mont St Michel are only a couple of hours drive away.

Pricing Info: The price per calendar month is exclusive of utilities and logs for the wood burner. The costs incurred for the use of the telephone and internet are payable by the tenant. A deposit of 25% of the total rental is required to confirm your dates, payable at the time of booking. This is returned at the end of the tenancy on receipt of the full term’s rent and the settlement of all bills. If the booking is cancelled before commencement, this deposit is forfeited. A security/damage deposit of £200 / 250 Euros is required with the first month’s rent on the day of arrival. This will be returned less any expenses within 14 days of vacating the property.
