The property: Charming cottage perched high up on the southern slopes of the Mayenne countryside, in approx 1.3 hectares of land with fabulous views. Outside Area: The property consists of approx 1.3 hectares of mostly fields sloping behind the house, an area of flat grass running directly behind the house with a wooden terrace for al fresco dining whilst taking in the lovely views.  The property is approached through a large gate into a gravelled drive where there is parking for 2 or more cars. There are also a couple of corrugated outdoor storage sheds for wood etc. The whole land is fenced in and if the fields are not needed they can be cut by a local farmer at the owner’s expense, provided the garden is maintained by the tenants.

Surrounding Area: The property is situated 800 feet above sea level in one of the most beautiful parts of the Mayenne. There are gently rolling hills and woods all around and walking paths in front of the property.  The village of St George sur Erve is about 1.5 kms away and has a bar/restaurant/tabac and also sells bread. The town of Evron is 10 mins drive and the large towns of Laval and Le Mans are 45 min drive in either direction. The medieval town of St Suzanne with its fortified castle, is 10 minutes drive and can be seen from the cottage.
