Surrounding Area: The attractive town of Bergerac is just a ten minute drive away, with many cultural attractions throughout the year. Markets are held every Wednesday and Saturday. It has its own train station and airport with good links to major transport routes. Bowling, go-carting and the Aquapark are all within easy reach.

North of Bergerac is Pombonne Lake with artificial beach and swimming facilities. At Port st Foy with it’s artificial beach is also Kayaking. There is easy access to the bastide towns of Issigeac, Eymet, Monpazier and Lalinde, where activities take place throughout the summer at the various venues.

Monbazillac has an enchanting Sunday evening market in July and August. There are numerous châteaux to visit for wine tasting in the surrounding area. Further afield  are Sarlat( 60km) Beynac, Les Eyzies and Rocamadur, all with a little something else to offer.
