Surrounding Area: Only 45 minutes from the pink granite coast, and many safe, sandy beaches. Historic Quimper is 1 hour away. Closer to hand are Carhaix and Callac with their weekly markets. There are many supermarkets, restaurants and creperies, fresh food shops, and some wonderful little boutiques and brochants.

The undulating countryside is a pleasure to walk, cycle or ride through. Fishing is also enjoyed in the local rivers. The local village of Plourac’h is typically Breton with its church, school, Marie, shop/bar and new boules hall, tennis court and play area for the little ones. Flowers cover every window sill and wall..
