The ski resort of Font Romeu is approx. 1 1/2 hrs drive; Castelnou a medieval village is nearby. There are all the normal activities, swimming, horseriding etc. at hand. The countryside is both vineyards and fruit orchards (peaches, plums, necturines and apricots) Canigou mountain can be seen from everywhere and is the symbol of this area, it is stunningly beautiful in the winter when it is covered in snow and the sun is shining.
