The property: In the sitting room indulge in your very own home cinema by watching your favourite shows on a Projector TV with huge motorised screen - excellent for watching either sports, 'the tweenies' or a good old fashion film, a huge video library for family entertainment with lots of top titles, lots of toys, games & dressing up clothes for the kids. You will not be disappointed to find so many new games and toys for the kids to enjoy - Happy children = Happy parents! The open-plan kitchen/sitting room has been meticulously furnished & equipped. You will also find a new large back kitchen with an additional 5 burner hob plus and extra oven. There are two large farmhouse kitchen tables where you can enjoy freshly baked croissants each morning! We have everything you would expect to find in the kitchen including washing machine, microwave & a huge stainless steel fridge freezer - (very important!) Lots of large serving dishes, crockery and cutlery have also been supplied so there will be no shortages when preparing a large family meal. Two master bedrooms, one twin (able to made into extra double if required) one triple bedroom (one set of bunk beds & adult size bed) & one quadruple bedroom (with two sets of bunk beds) There are two family bathrooms at the property, both with double sink units, one with a huge shower, and one with a Jacuzzi bath and toilet. There is also a separate WC at the property. In the large mature private gardens (1200m²) the children will love the children’s play area with swings, slide and sandpit. Surrounding Area: Le Mimosa is under a minutes walk from the lovely village of Angles which has a large street market on Wednesday and Sunday mornings (in peak season) - an excellent opportunity to sample much of the locally produced food, including cheese, meat, fish and wine. Located so close to the village of Angles, you can either take a leisurely stroll in the morning to pick up your fresh baguette and croissants with the kids or in the evenings visit a choice of 5 great restaurants. You will also find a comprehensive folder in the gîte listing restaurants, activities and local events, as well as plenty of ideas for entertaining the children. There is a huge write up of over 20 local restaurants that we recommend and if you want some 'adult time' we also supply the baby-sitting too! In the summer months Angles organises special events in the square including fun days, evening entertainers, jazz and blues nights, firework displays and night markets. You can sit with the locals and enjoy 'moules & frites' listening to a band watching the kids dance to their hearts content. Angles has its own Office de Tourisme, as well as a post office, two banks, a hairdresser, a beauty salon, an aromatherapist, a pharmacy, five cafés/bars and four restaurants. There are also two supermarkets, two butchers, a fishmonger and a fruit & vegetable shop. The large fishing port of l'Aiguillon is just 10 minutes away. Early risers can choose from a range of freshly-caught fish, mussels, oysters, langoustine and gambas at the town's fish market which is open every weekday at 5am. Those who prefer a lie-in can sample the seafood later in the day at one of the many wonderful fish restaurants in the town. Whether you're an experienced cyclist or a leisure rider, this area has plenty of surprises in store for you. all along the 'Loire a Velo' signposted bike trial, you can marvel at the stunning Loire countryside, visit châteaux’s & Abbeys, stroll through quaint little towns & cycle through vineyards for over 110 miles! Pricing Info: Long lets are only available from October to April. For 3+ month’s rental £700 pcm, 2 month’s rental £995 pcm, 1 month’s rental £1295 pcm. Prices are based on one family sharing. 3 month’s rent is required at the time of booking thereafter, each month’s rent is due the first day of each month in local currency. A security deposit of one month’s rent is also due upon arrival in local currency. Duvet and pillows are supplied, towels & linen are available on hire. Water and electricity are metered and due at the end of each calendar month with standing charges. Logs are chargeable locally.
