The property:  The house has two sitting rooms (one with an open log fire), a large dining room, fully equipped kitchen, one double bedroom (with en-suite bathroom and walk-in wardrobe), one bunk bedroom, one full bathroom and a separate WC.  

The main sitting room is a comfortable family room with a large open fireplace, TV (with most UK channels), video, DVD and CD player.

Adjoining the sitting room is a spacious kitchen equipped with gas hob, electric oven, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher and washing machine with integral dryer. The kitchen table seats five people.

The dining room also seats ten and there is a mezzanine study area with a single day bed.

In a separate, but inter-connecting, annexe there are a further two double bedrooms (one which could be used as a triple bedroom as it has a double and two single futon beds), bathroom & WC and kitchenette.

There is good mobile phone reception for most networks.

Outside Area: The garden is a mix of beautiful green lawns, shrubs and trees, orchard and wild woodland. It is not overlooked by other properties and traffic is rarely audible - it is delightfully quiet. A recent addition is a 10m x 5m fenced swimming pool with large, furnished pool house, complete with bar and fridge.

Right outside the main kitchen, there is a large terrace with table and chairs for up to 8 people and a purpose built BBQ making this a great place to eat in the warm months.

Next to the house there is also a large stone barn which provides an open, fully shaded dining area with table and chairs to seat up to 14 people, with peaceful, uninterrupted views overlooking the orchard and the woods beyond.

Another outbuilding is a useful shelter for the ping-pong table and netball hoop.

Surrounding Area: En Dimanche is situated just outside the beautiful old market town of Mauvezin, which has plenty of bars, restaurants and shops together with a bank and weekly market within easy reach.  The countryside here is green and rolling and in summer covered in sunflowers. It’s a great place to unwind or, for those who prefer some action, there is tennis, riding, golf and sailing nearby, and this classic Gers landscape is wonderful for walking and cycling. There are also countless ‘bastide’ towns to visit nearby.

Pricing Info:  Rental fee is based on number of occupants; utilities are not included for any rental period over 2 months, but logs are free! Clean linen and bath towels are provided with spares, but no swimming towels. Laundry and cleaning during rental period can be organised at additional cost if requested.
Deposit dependant on length of rental period, but a minimum of one month’s rent will be requested. Payment in euros to be deposited in local bank.
