The property: Ground floor house attached to a converted watermill, there are two bedrooms, a shower room and an open-plan kitchen, dining and living room area.  Comfortably furnished, this recently converted house is full of character with it’s large fireplace, tiled floors and beamed ceiling.  The kitchen is fully fitted with cooker, microwave, kettle and toaster. There is Satellite TV (Freesat), DVD, Hi-Fi and WIFI.  Washing machine and tumble dryer are available for guests’ use. Views across the small river to open fields beyond.

Outside Area: In the 10 acres surrounding the gîte there are fields, an orchard, a mill pond and of course a river!  Outside furniture includes table and chairs, loungers and the use of barbeque.

Surrounding Area: Situated on the road between L’Homme and Chahaignes, (1km and 1.5 km away), where guests can buy their daily baguette and croissants, with a supermarket just 2 km away.  La Chartre sur Le Loir with it’s shops and restaurants is a 5 minute drive, and watersports activities are found at Marcon and Les 3 Lacs at Couture sur Loir.  Ideal location for walking and cycling, visiting chateaux or the race track at Le Mans.  Good base for house-hunters.
