Description of Property:
L’Athena (2 bedrooms).
Sleeps 4 plus cot.
Set over 2 floors, there is an open plan living area with sofa, combined satellite TV/video, DVD, music system, wood burning stove. The fully equipped kitchen has a dining table, oven and hob, microwave, washing machine, fridge and freezer.
On the 1st floor there is a double bedroom, a single bedroom containing full size bunk beds and a separate showeroom.
L’Athena is perfect for either a summer holiday or winter let. Being the smallest of our gîtes, it is well insulated and cosy. There is ducted heating from the wood burner into the master bedroom and a further storage heater in the 2nd bedroom. Previous winter lets include 8 months, 3 and 4 months respectively. Outside Amenities: Enclosed rear garden with dining facilities and B-B-Q. To the front is an open courtyard with communal seating areas. 12m x 6m heated swimming pool (via solar panels & heat exchanger).
As the rear gardens are enclosed they are perfect for containing dogs. Cats are free to wonder in the open countryside surrounding the property.

The area is ideal for walking and. With good access routes, Le Repos des Hiboux is a great base for house hunting or a relaxing holiday.
With the added advantage of having 3 low cost airports nearby (La Rochelle, Poitiers and Bordeaux) we are just hours away!

We also understand the importance of safety and have, where possible tried to ensure the whole area is child friendly and safe. Our heated swimming pool is not only enclosed with a lockable gate but also has an automatic key operated cover for added security. Cots, highchairs, stairgates and fire guards are available. |
