Outside Amenities:  To the rear of the cottage is your own private courtyard with private access and covered parking for your car. Surrounding Area:  Maison Poirier is located in a small hamlet close to the village of Migron, approximately 20km NE of Saintes and 15 kms NW of Cognac yet only 1hr drive from the Atlantic coast and its amazing beaches, or alternatively you can take advantage of the local countryside, walks in the vineyards and woods surrounding the hamlet, or cycle the myriad of peaceful country lanes. Historic towns such as Angouleme, Poitiers, Saintes, La Rochelle and Cognac are but a short drive away. There are numerous good (and reasonably priced) restaurants in the area and the superb local markets offer an amazing range of seasonal fresh seafood, farm produce and cheeses.
