In the evening the beautiful old 13th century church is lit up and provides a wonderful backdrop.

In front of the house is a large gated courtyard, whilst to the side is a secluded patio garden with pool (9x 4.5 and 1.2 deep). There is also a BBQ, summer kitchen with drinks fridge, shower, cloakroom, table tennis table & lots of teak garden furniture for relaxing on. This may be shared with the occupants of Le Manoir, the adjacent house.

Cot is available. The bedroom at the top of the house is a large and spacious en suite master bedroom. The bedroom on the first floor is unusual, in that it provides a very large double bunk. This is reached up a short ladder, so it may not be suitable for the very young or very elderly, or someone with a disability. There is also a sofa bed in the sitting room at this level. On the ground floor in the dining room, it was decided, rather than destroy the old wine cuve, it would be retained and restored. So what this gives you on the ground floor is a fully equiped kitchen, large bathroom, and a small dining room, with French doors out onto the terrace at one end. At the other end of the dining-room, there is a step up to the curtained-off cuve, which contains the double bed. |
