Description of Property:
This property was built 10 years ago and so benefits from modern insulation and heating. The property is on the ground level with steps to the front terrace. It has been brightly decorated, just the thing to banish winter blues. The south facing aspect results in a sun trap at the rear of the property making it possible to sit outside on all but the coldest days.

Outside Amenities: The villa is set in a good size garden with fruit trees borders and a grassed area. There are patios to both the north and south sides of the house. The south side also houses the pool (closed for the winter). There is an outside barbecue, table and chairs as well as six sun beds.
To the north is a former vineyard beyond which is the canal du Midi. To the south is also a former vineyard which has recently been replanted on the far side. There is a gravel drive approaching the house which is only used by two houses. There is no other passing traffic.

The village has several restaurants (6 at the last count) all within walking distance and also a well stocked small supermarket which is conveniently also open at lunchtimes and Sundays for daily bread, croissants and any other supplies.
The town of Olonzac is only 1 km away and has a good market every Tuesday morning. Lézignan Corbières is about 10 kms away and has a market every Wednesday morning.
The renowned village of Minerve (after which the valley is named) is a short drive away and is a sight to behold, perched unbelievably on an outcrop of rock surrounded by gorges worn away by rivers over millions of years.
Homps is surrounded by vineyards and lies in the heart of this wine making country.
