Outside Amenities: The 420sqm house is surrounded by mature gardens with olive and fruit trees. The pool is 14mx6m and a boule pitch within the landscaped garden of 4600sqm. The Summer kitchen invites to Alfresco dining with its integrated BBQ and stone table with ten chairs. There are sun loungers around the pool as well as a ping pong table. The villa has also private gym facilities and an infrared sauna. We also offer bikes and a trampoline.
Surrounding Area: Uzès is well known by its castle and its Duchess of Uzès. The weekly markets invite many tourists from the area. The town has many fine boutiques and restaurant. There is a horse riding school within walking distance to the villa. There a plenty of well sign posted walking tracks around Uzès and the Gard area. The Pont Du Gard is a well recognized landmark in the area. Avignon, Nimes and Montpellier are worthwhile a visit for its cultural background. The nearest beach is at Lotte which is approximately a 50min drive from the villa. We had once a Canadian family, who explored the whole area for caving, climbing, kayaking, painting, pottery classes, cooking classes, language classes etc. They mentioned that they haven't been in an area where there are so many different things to explore.
We also had an American family who send their two children to local schools and immersed into the French life. They all loved the villa and its surrounding.
