There is space for plenty of parking. The village is a 5 min walk from the house.
Surrounding Area: Durfort Lacapelette is on the historic pilgrimage route to St Jacques de Compostelle between the towns of Moissac and Lauzerte. Lauzerte is a mediaeval bastide town 10 mins drive away. Moissac (also 10 mins) famous for the Chasselas grape (AOC), has a UNESCO listed abbey and cloisters. With both the Tarn river and the Canal Latéral (the northern extension of the Canal du Midi) crossing Moissac there are plenty of things to do! There is a market every Saturday and Sunday in the town square.
The South West of France is rich in culture and gastronomic delights. The house is located right in the heart of the region, the possibility for day trips to explore are infinite, if house hunting is on the agenda, it is an ideal base to access most of the region and return home at the end of the day.
