Description of Property:   This property has a private entrance and drive, large cellar and garden. In addition we can offer you private stabling and grazing land for your horse/horses. You can make use of the orangerie and vegetable garden, for those of you that like to grow their own food.

The central room of the house is the open living area. It has a fitted kitchen, dining area and a wood burner surrounded by a comfortable sofa and fauteuils. French windows look out upon the garden, the livery yard and beyond that, the wide valley. Truly an incredible view.

Attached to the living area there is a large hallway connecting 1 bedroom (bed 160-200), an office and a large bathroom.
Bedroom 1 and office are situated on the east-side of the house, overlooking the garden.

On the west-side of the house there is another large hallway connecting the other bedrooms.

Bedroom 3 has 2 single beds (90-200) or can be used for storage purposes.

The attached barn is the perfect place for wood storage.
Build into the hill, the living area and rooms are situated on the first floor, reached by a beautiful stone staircase.
On the ground floor there is a large cellar for storage and/or a wine-collection. The cellar can be reached by indoor stairs and also opens up to the garden.

Outside Amenities:  The house has a garden of approximately 200m2. The garden is fully fenced with beautiful chestnut fencing.

From the house you have a beautiful view of the livery yard and valley of river la Crempse. The livery yard of Mazieras has ten luxurious stables, a manege and round-pen plus wide fields. Horses are trained daily by professional trainer Lindsay Lonsdale (S.E). To see these horses, grazing in the meadows around the main building, bring an extra dimension to the beautiful picture called Maziéras.
Maziéras can now offer long-term tenants accommodation for their own horses.

The vast estate of 250 acre is intensively cultivated. Maziéras has about seven acres of orchards. Chestnuts, walnuts and fruits are harvested and sold. Large fields are sown with wheat, canola, sunflower and maize.

The estate is perfect to enjoy long walks, bike rides or rides on horseback. You may encounter deer, especially in the twilight when these animals come to the river la Crempse to drink.

Outside of the Domaine, you can visit nearby Château de Montréal or the many other castles in the area, also markets, brocantes and antique fairs.

The Domaine is situated just outside of Issac with post office, school, bar/cafe, restaurant and bakery. A 10 minute drive away is the market town of Mussidan with shops, supermarkets, Tourist Office, restaurants and banks etc.

The farm is situated between Bergerac on the River Dordogne and the River Isle to the north. The Isle Valley has been inhabited since prehistoric times and traces have been found of cave paintings near Sourzac as well as dolmens and standing stones.

Perigueux is also a 30 minute drive. A town in the same medieval style with a beautiful cathedral, shops and many outside restaurants for lunch and dinner in the summer.
