Description of Property:
The property is set out across ground floor level with private patio (with table and chairs). Entry leads to a spacious but cosy salon/lounge with plenty of seating, a large traditional fireplace with Godin log burner (logs included in the price and available on site) which kicks out a lot of warmth! The fully-fitted kitchen with modern built-in units, tall larder, a butler sink, gas hob/electric oven, combined fridge-freezer and washing machine is newly installed. This then leads to a spacious dining area with a huge dining table and French dresser. There are two bedrooms. The master bedroom is beautifully appointed with dressed granite stone walls and chunky wooden beams, with doors opening onto the patio. It is furnished with a queen sized bed, wardrobe, drawer chest and bedside cabinet. The second bedroom has two single beds (if required these can be removed so the room could be used for an office or additoinal storage) and wardrobe. A beautiful new bathroom with built-in shower, sink set in a vainity unit and toilet completes the property.
For house buyers in the region, we may also offer storage at a competitive rate within our barn (you are required to take out your own insurance for this service).
The gîte is well equipped with everything you should need for a short or long term stay.

We have a private in-ground heated pool open from May to October (weather permitting) which tenants may use on an occasional basis by prior agreement only.
Pet friendly. If bringing pets please also bring covers to protect all furniture. Strictly no pets allowed on beds.
We have an established relationship with a wonderful and fully equipped Equestrian for those wishing to house their horses in stables or fields nearby (15 mins by car).
Surrounding Area: Perfectly situated. Rural, yet only 25 minutes to Limoges city and the airport. 10 minutes from the Motorway and 8 km from the local town with all facilities.
Grandmont itself is an area rich in culture and history and the commune is built upon the ruins of the abbey of Grandmont, a place visited over the years by many royals. Surrounded by forest trials it is perfect for nature enthusiasts, ramblers and bikers alike.
It is one of the few unique places in France to offer everything.
