This characterful former pigsty is a favourite with guests! The kitchen is the central hub of this gîte with the 2nd bedroom, stair to main bedroom, lounge and bathrooms leading from it.
You enter from the secluded terrace & BBQ to either the kitchen or living room.
Entering the kitchen you have a fridge/freezer, dishwasher, microwave, & a kitchen table,
To your right is a door to the bathroom, with bath, W.C. & a wash hand basin. Beyond that there is a stone arch leading to the shower. The washing machine is here.
Continuing through another door you are in the downstairs bedroom with a single + bunk bed.
This has French windows directly onto the quadrangle.
The living room offers a T.V. with Sky free-to-air, & a DVD player.
There is a wood-burning stove here.
The dining table is in the living room, adjacent to the kitchen.
This property is popular for guests staying in the winter or on long-term lets. In the living room you have a really efficient wood-burning stove, supplemented by wall mounted electric heaters.
Stairs from the kitchen lead to the back door: This opens out to another, secluded terrace.
Also upstairs is the lovely double bedded room, with a sledge bed.

Surrounding Area: Nancy & I (Peter), researched Dordogne thoroughly before we purchased Le Manoir De St. Marcel.
Choosing first the location, then finding this property.
We live within walking distance, on the estate. You are close to the Manoir house, & the three other gites.
Recently guests have found that the friendly French lessons, & also yoga classes (British teacher), which are both just a short car journey from here, offer them a good introduction to the social life here.

We tend to do this on cold sunny, crisp days, & have picnic/hot chocolate breaks: We enjoy it!
