Description of Property:
The Farmhouse is an original stone built Perigordine farmhouse with a traditional steep roof. We have a 3* rating provided by the Prefecture. On the ground floor there are two double rooms, a bathroom and separate toilet. Upstairs there are two twin rooms and a shower/toilet room. There is a big living room with open fireplace. You can watch the TV which has French or English channels. A hallway with the original bread oven leads through to the well equipped modern kitchen. We think the original part of the the Farmhouse is about 300 years old; the kitchen and utility room have been added more recently. Linen and towels are supplied. The Farmhouse has central heating and its own garden and with a private pool. The pool dimensions are 8 m x 4 m x 1.4 m deep with semicircular steps at one end. There is a Studio attached to the Farmhouse that is self-contained (bed-sitting room, kitchen and bathroom). The previous owners had it equipped for a handicapped person with entrance ramp, handrails around the walls, raised toilet and sit-down shower and we have retained these features. We find that guests in the Farmhouse prefer the privacy offered by including the Studio in their rental and the prices offered here reflect that preference.
Outside Amenities: Garden, BBQ, pool. On a horsey farm with woods and fields to explore.
A tranquil situation but close to the shops and travel facilities of Bergerac.
Surrounding Area: Bergerac is a well known wine producing area by the Dordogne with an historic old town.

Pricing Info: For a long term let we can discuss whether the gas, electricity, fuel oil for the central heating and wood for the fire are supplied by the guests. We cover the cost of the water. There is a Taxe de Séjour for the local area which is 1.04 € per person (over 12) per night.
There is also an attached studio for two people. We generally find that guests want to be private and for the studio not to be let to other people and this would affect the price.
Availability: This property is available year round for longer lets.
We are happy to let through the summer as well but would appreciate an increase in the price at this time.
My property is NOT available for weekly summer holiday rentals.
