Description of Property:   We offer a fully-equipped house (bedding, towels, two fully equipped kitchens including one with large five-hotplate range cooker). There are two bathrooms: one with bath/shower and WC, one with walk-in Italian shower and WC plus washing machine and tumble drier. Large flat screen TV, Broadband Wifi. Two of the bedrooms are double study bedrooms with large desk spaces and shelves. A third workspace is available in the study area. Children are welcome but must be supervised at all times and are NOT permitted unsupervised onto the roof terrace. Riverside and forest walks and bike rides can be accessed direct from the village. Fontaine le Port has a village bakery, a small Friday evening market, and Carrefour and Casino supermarkets a short drive away. The village station has hourly trains to Paris with one change (45 mins). Bois-le-Roi (half-hourly trains direct, 35 min journey) is a short drive away.

Surrounding Area:  The village is a short drive from the lovely town of Fontainebleau, with international anglophone schools from nursery to age 18. INSEAD business school is a short drive. Fontainebleau forest offers beautiful walks and rocky scenery, very popular with boulderers from around the world. Fontainebleau's world-famous chateau is a UNESCO world Heritage site, and the town's thrice-weekly produce market is classed as a national 'marché d'exception'. Disney is a 45-minute drive.
