Description of Property:   Maison Danton is a typical village house in the Languedoc area and is built on three floors with a large terrace at the top of the house. On the top floor is a mezzanine twin bedroom which leads on to the terrace with its rooftop views. Here one can enjoy al fresco dining, an aperitif or even a continental breakfast with coffee and croissants.
With no through Impasse Danton is a corner of tranquillity in what can be a lively animated village in summer months.
The number of floors and the staircase may make this house unsuitable for small children and anyone with reduced mobility.

Outside Amenities:  The village of Villleneuve-les-Beziers can be traced back to Medieval times and has a good range of shops, bars and restaurants. On the far side of the village is a large supermarket, multi-screen cinema, restaurants and a bank, all within walking distance.
A short walk through medieval streets leads to the Canal du Midi where one can watch the boats meandering along the canal and negotiating the village lock in the summer, or one can enjoy a long promenade by the side of the canal.

Surrounding Area:  Villeneuve-les-Beziers is in the heart of the Languedoc wine growing area and there is a regular bus service to the city of Beziers with its weekly flower market, cathedral and wide tree-lined promenade, just 7k.
The nearest beach is Serignan Plage, 9k which is a protected natural area. Other beaches are Portiragnes Plage and Vias Plage. The resort of Cap d'Agde is 20k. Montpellier, Carcassonne and Narbonne are all worth a visit and are around an hours drive away.
Superb communication links exist with the motorway A9 only 10 minutes from the village. Beziers-Cap d'Agde is the nearest airport with flights from the UK Germany, Sweden and Paris only a 7 minute drive.
Other international airports are
Montpellier 80k, Carcassonne and Perpignan 100k and Nimes 120k.
The TGV stops at Beziers and via a change at Paris or Lille links with the Eurostar to central London and Brussels.
