Description of Property:
The house has been recently modernised with all the comforts you could want. It has oil fired central heating to upstairs and down and log burners too. The impressive oak fitted kitchen with marble worktops is fully fitted with range cooker, dishwasher, double belfast sink, microwave and washing machine, china, glass and crockery is provided. The kitchen is completed with a large oak table that sits a large family comfortably in front of the log burner with 2 sets of french doors to the patio and swimming pool outside. A snug comfy lounge is on the opposite side of the house, this has a log burner and tv with dvd player, the bookshelves have a selection of books and family board games to use. A downstairs bathroom with shower completes the ground floor. A small room on this floor is locked and used for storage but is not used whilst the house is occupied. Guests can use owners phone for landline calls at local rate to international destinations. We have English tv in the house with some dvd's for use. Wi-fi is available.
Upstairs there are 4 generous bedrooms 2 with ensuites, making this ideal for extended family. A large family bathroom has a full size bath with shower over and units to store all your essentials. Two bedrooms have single beds - one set can be put together to become a six-foot wide bed. The master room has a large romantic six-foot metal frame bed. The fourth bedroom is made up as a double , a cot is available if needed. Bed linen and towels are provided, please provide your own pool towels.
The owner lives in small property on site and maintains the gardens and pool area. Owner has barn where mowers, wood storage etc are stored and this is therefore out of bounds to children.
Outside Amenities: Large 2/3rd of acre plot with a gated driveway with plenty of parking. The rear garden is mostly laid to lawn. A large patio with teak table and chairs and covered terrace to rear of house are just outside the kitchen. A totally fenced and lockable gated swimming pool overlooks the patio with sun terrace for sunbathing. Deckchairs and loungers are provided.
Surrounding Area: La Paiziere is located in beautiful peaceful countryside ideal for getting away from it all. Yet with Ruffec a short drive away you are not isolated. There are many villages to explore and have a french lunch in. The area is good for hiking and cycling, with many rivers and lakes around for kayaking/canoeing and fishing. Many chateaux and other historic buildings surround the area.

3 months is minimum rental period- one months rent paid upon booking and 2 month's rent paid in full 2 weeks before arrival and an un-cashed cheque for one month rent held for damages which will be returned at end of letting. On-going rent to be paid monthly in advance.
