There is limited family dining ( up to 5 ) in the kitchen but plenty elsewhere. The garden is very large. There are stone stairs, an open frame staircase and no stair gates – very young children will need supervision. Chindrieux has a supermarket, a pharmacy, a florist and various restaurants.

A large deck overlooks the huge garden and, further still, to the mountains and the lake.
This unique mansion is excellent for hedonists and ‘bon vivants’. You don't really need to leave the mansion! The outdoor space of the mansion will let you explore a wonderful garden with a sun-drenched terrace decorated with high-quality and delightful garden furniture. But if you're looking for variety, there are plenty of activities and unique places to discover. From cycling over many ‘cols’ and walking to paragliding, everything is doable within less than 1 km.
Surrounding Area: The manor house is located in the village of Chindrieux in the Savoie department of the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region of south-east France. It is within walking distance of vineyards and overlooks the Lake Bourget. The beautiful town of Annecy is a 30-minute drive. The residence is a 1-hour drive to Geneva airport and 40 minutes to the mountain nature reserve of Massif des Bauges with hiking and cycling trails, woods and wine-producing villages.
The property is surrounded by vineyards, counting two within 10 minutes’ walk. The village of Chindrieux has waterside restaurants and water sports to enjoy.
For the most curious, take a dip in the Lac-du-Bourget (6,5 km) or visit the beautiful (lake of) Annecy (39 km). Aix-les-Bains (22 km) is also quite nearby and the panoramic road towards it while driving through the Col De La Chambotte is truly breath-taking. Besides, it is an ideal location during the winter months.
Moreover, if you want to go skiing, that's easily possible. At about 70 km you will find the Massif des Aravis (>200 km in slopes) where you can easily park your car. A little further (2 hours by car) and you will be in the heart of the Portes Du Soleil (286 slopes!). A day trip to Geneva (71 km) is also certainly worth it.
