A second set of French doors at the rear of the gite lead to the private patio, garden, sun terrace and decking areas with views across rolling fields and woodland. On the second floor you will find the master bedroom with ensuite toilet and king-size bed, a twin bedroom with 2 single beds, and a double bedroom with a typical French style double bed. All the bedrooms have been tastefully decorated to reflect the traditional French style.

Outside Amenities:  The gite looks out over a well-established garden with spring and summer flowering shrubs, including a variety of fruit trees, such as walnut, cherry, apple and pear. Stunning views across a small valley to neighbouring fields and woodland.

Surrounding Area:  The village of Frayssinet-le-Gelat is 2 km away, with a restaurant, an artisan baker, and a grocers with post office facilities, plus a picturesque lake. Ideally situated for visiting historic towns - Sarlat, Rocamadour, Domme, and Cahors. Conveniently located for prehistoric limestone caves, Malbec vineyards, medieval castles, local artisan and farmers markets and the glorious Lot and Dordogne river valleys. The nearest airport is Bergerac Airport, 46 miles from Les Leroux.
Ideal location for hiking (we are on the Chemin de Saint-Jacques de Compostelle GR652), swimming at any one of the number of manmade sandy bathing lake beaches or the many river beaches along the Lot and Dordogne rivers, cycling along the Velo du Lot cycleway, or canoeing/kayaking along the Lot and Dordogne rivers. There are also 2 horse-riding stables within 2km of Les Leroux.
