The shower room with toilet and sink is also downstairs which makes it easily accessible for someone with limited mobility that could sleep downstairs. Upstairs there is a double bedroom and a twin bedded room and a storage cupboard. The cottage is surrounded by countryside and trees which are the views from all windows.
Outside Amenities: Outside amenities include private seating area with table, chairs and parasol directly outside the cottage which is south facing. Swimming pool, hot tub, communal garden with children's play area, meadow and woodland, great for walking. Outdoor games, BBQ and firepit. Off road parking, barn and wood store. The barn and sheds are for owners use. Extensive south facing garden and patio area and garden furniture for both the dining and pool areas including sunbeds. Outside garden lighting and water feature with mature shrubs and trees make this a calm and inviting area for all. Cycling along the quiet country lanes is a must and we have bicycles for our guests to use free of charge.
Surrounding Area: The property is situated in a country location with country lanes leading to the site. The local town of Callac provides everything you need including supermarkets, banks, post office, petrol stations, shops, florist, church, cinema, restaurants and cafe bars and a midweek market in the main square. There is a large fishing lake in Callac which is a beautiful area for walking and cycling. There are other lakes, (some with beaches) rivers and places of interest nearby including attractions such as the Valley of the Saints, the Gorge du Corong, the ancient Breton forest of Huelgoat and an ancient Roman bridge in Callac with plenty of history. There is a local dairy within walking distance from the property where you can buy fresh milk straight from the cow, still warm! A range of activities including; cycling, badminton, tennis, boules, archery, fishing, swimming, golf and walking are all available either in the area or onsite at very little or no cost. There are many good beaches in Brittany and the nearest is 45 minutes drive away.
