Living room - bright open plan room with a stunning stone fireplace, beams and a full length window over looking the sunflower fields and the most amazing sunsets with a dining area and television area including a DVD and CD player and INTERNET access.
Bedroom 1 - double bedroom with luxury en suite and a king size bed has been designed to accommodate limited mobility. There is a Jacuzzi bath and a separate shower. There are lovely French windows which open on to the front garden where there is a seating area great for the first cup of tea in a morning.

Surrounding Area: The barns are situated on The Edge of the village of Chevanceaux, with magnificent views over the sunflower fields from the gardens, and where original parts of the buildings date back to the 16th century. This lovely little town has everything you may need. A recommended restaurant, bar and supermarkets. There is also a large out door swimming pool. In summer the village hold many evening markets.
The beautiful city of Jonzac with its great castle and lovely selection of restaurants is only 20 minutes away, it also has a large indoor swimming complex, great for those rainy days. It also has a large casino.
A little further north is a town called Mirabeau with a magnificent château which boasts an excellent restaurant.
There are 3 lake beaches, which are only a 10 minute drive away; (montguyon, brossac and guizengard) one has activities such as jet skis and quad bikes. All 3 have good restaurants.
The whole area has a wonderful climate and important heritage, you can choose to relax or spend your time exploring. There is a wealth of architectural interest, bustling markets, great wine and gastronomic specialities with wonderful cities such as Bordeaux, Jonzac, Pons and Cognac within striking distance. St emillion is 40 minutes away and is a beautiful old town as well as a great place to sample wine. Brantome is an hour away but well worth a day out, the town is split through the middle by a beautiful river, on one side there is a museum, and cathedral and caves and on the other is lovely restaurants and shops, there are also water sports on the river.

(tax is £400 per 6 months) A deposit of one months rent is taken in advance and a breakages deposit of £500, price includes linen and towels, For a stay of less than 4 weeks, the price is inclusive and is £250 PW. Linen is always provided. Logs are extra but a starter basket is included. Summer prices are available with significant discounts for a stay of 4 weeks or more.
