We have free range hens so free eggs are available for our guests. 0.5kl St Clementin nearest bar and bakery 7km Argenton Les Vallees nearest supermaket/restaurants/bank/post office etc or 15km Bressuire to nearest town with full range of amenities including market and Chateau.
Surrounding Area: Situated in the Bocage on the edge of the Anjou wine-growing area in gentle, well-wooded countryside. Wayside chapels (marking traditional pilgrim routes to St. James of Compostella) characterise this area. Wide range of birds and wildlife. 0.5 km from historic village of St. Clémentin which has a bar restaurant, bakery. Nearby are indoor & outdoor swimming pools, horse riding, bowling & cinema. There are delightful circular walks from the house, with further opportunities for cycling, including the cycle track on the former railway between Bressuire and Nueil-les-Aubiers. There are many opportunities for fishing on our river and islands. There are excellent restaurants, both inexpensive and gourmet.
