There is underfloor heating throughout the ground floor and electric towel radiators in each bathroom.

Outside Amenities:  The kitchen leads out through double french doors to the large terrace area. There is a covered pergola which gives shade in summer and shelter in the winter with a marble top dining table and 8 chairs. An L shaped cushioned seating area is perfect for day siestas or evening drinks. The terrace leads to the 8 x 4m tiled pool and part lawned/part paved garden. There is an old stone wall surrounding the garden giving shelter and privacy. A webber bbq is available for outdoor cooks. There is a second pergola for relaxing under which is very welcome during the warmer months with a double sunlounger. We provide comfortable outdoor loungers with cushions plus an outdoor shower with warm water. A fully self contained guest gite is located on the land which is also available during the warmer months. There is also a second outside table and dining chairs on the gite patio.

Surrounding Area:  The village of Aumes is surrounding by vineyards producing award winning local wine. Wine tours are available for enthusiasts. Close to Mediterranean beaches (about 20 minutes), with many beach bars cropping up during the summer months and delightful seafood restaurants to sample local oysters throughout the year.

Natural rivers for freshwater swimming are located nearby with "beach" areas for picnics. Variable landscape can be found a short drive away with natural gorges and river activities such as canoeing, rafting.

The historic town of Pézenas with its famous antique shops and Saturday market is only 5 minutes drive. There are also some great local restaurants and a lively cafe scene, cinema, library and English bookshop. Nearby are the cosmopolitan cities of Montpellier, Béziers and Nimes.
