Outside Amenities:  The house is set in landscaped gardens with a range of old and young trees. Open countryside borders the garden on 2 sides.

There is a large sun terrace at the front of the house with table & chairs under a shade-canopy.

The garden is mainly to the south of the property and contains a variety of mature and younger trees, including cherry, peach, and apple trees. The garden offers one main flat piece of lawn (with room for a badminton court), but with a number of other more shaded areas providing various routes through the grounds. Hedges on the property's perimeter provide privacy. There is a large gravelled parking area.

Surrounding Area:  Guémené-sur-Scorff sits on the river Scorff which meanders through unspoilt rolling farmland, and is close to the ancient Fôret de Quenecan (8 km), and Brittany’s largest lake (Le lac de Guerlédan, 18 km).

There is an extensive network of footpaths in the surrounding countryside. These start close to the house (avoiding the need to walk on the road) and lead to both Guémené and nearby villages and hamlets. Guémené has a mixture of both open countryside, and also densely wooded hills/river valleys nearby. It is both good walking and cycling countryside.

Guemene is only 1 minute away by car and offers a pretty historic centre with a weekly market, bars, restaurants, banks, a post office, cinema, traditional small shops, and 2 supermarkets.

The larger historic city of Pontivy is a 20 minute drive away, and sits on the Nantes-Brest Canal. Pontivy has a thriving centre with many beautiful buildings and shops etc.

The south coast is approximately 35 minutes drive away.

Nearby cities towns and cities of interest include Vannes (54 km), Josselin (40 km), Pont-Aven (50 km), and Carnac (56 km).
