Description of Property: The apartment is on one level. You enter the apartment from the street through its own door and then a small flight of steps. The area is open plan sitting room, dining room and kitchen. The sitting room is comfortable with two sofas, a TV with satellite in English, and wifi. The dining area has a table and chairs for eating inside, and the kitchen is well equipped and fully fitted and spacious. There are two bedrooms on this one level one with a large double bed and the other with twins. The shower room is to a very high standard with marble tiles. There is a WC, shower and hand basin. There is a second separate WC on this floor. There are stairs to the mezzanine which has plenty of wardrobes and cupboard space and a double bed.
Outside Amenities: The apartment is part of the Old Olive Mill and shares a garden with the other 11 apartments. The garden overlooks the river and has sitting areas. There is a swimming pool in the gardens but this is closed from mid September to the beginning of June each year. Parking is in the main village carpark. You can drive down to offload luggage.
Surrounding Area: Cotignac is in the centre of the Var which is mainly olive groves and vineyards. There is plenty of wild areas and forest with tracks for walking or mountain biking. The village is active and has things going on from time to time. The Lac St Croix is just three quarters of an hour away by car and the coast at St. Tropez is just a little further. From here you can visit the mountains, the Camargue, Avignon, Aix en Provence and Monaco within a two hour drive.
