Any advertiser who fails to take note of copyright law and supplies material, either knowingly or unknowingly, that infringes such copyright, agrees to indemnify RentaplaceinFrance.com for any and all costs that may result from the use of such material.
Although every effort has been made to provide complete and accurate information on the properties, and elsewhere on this Site, RentaplaceinFrance.com makes no warranties, express or implied, or representations as to the accuracy of content on this Site. The property information is supplied to us by the property owners or their agents and we do not inspect the properties ourselves to confirm the accuracy of any given information. It is recommended that where possible, the tenant should visit the property himself to inspect it prior to renting. It is the responsibility of the renting party to satisfy themselves as to the accuracy of the information on this Site prior to entering into any rental agreement with the property owner or their agent. Any property rental contract or agreement, is between the tenant and the property owner or their agent, and RentaplaceinFrance.com cannot be held liable for any disagreements or misunderstandings that may occur. We do advise all users to seek professional advice as required eg from a French Notaire before entering into any rental contract.
Advertisers agree to respond within a timely manner to enquiries, maintain valid contact details and ensure their advert is kept up to date. We ask that all advertisers provide truthful and accurate information to best describe their property.
All properties that are rented out for 4 months or more in total per year must display an Energy efficiency certificate or DPE (Diagnostic de performance énergétique) on their advert.
Changing the displayed property over to show a different property mid-advertising run without prior consent is not allowed. The original property shown on an advert must remain for the duration of the advert’s run.
We reserve the right to promote properties advertising on this Site in other areas we deem suitable, including but not limited to, other websites and media publications.
Persons using this Site may contact any of the advertisers for the sole purpose of making personal enquiries about renting their property. Making contact for any other reason, commercial or otherwise, is strictly prohibited.
When you use any link on this Site you leave the RentaplaceinFrance.com Site and we are not responsible for the content of any websites accessed from these links. You access these websites at your sole risk.
Property adverts can link to their own personal website. Links to other rental listing sites are not allowed.
We reserve the right to withdraw any advertisement (either wholly or in part) from the Site at any time and without prior notice if we deem the advert to be unsuitable for continued inclusion on the Site (for example, if a question arises over ownership, copyright infringement or complaints are received regarding the property). A pro-rata refund will be made for any advertising time remaining for any advert wholly withdrawn from the Site on such grounds. RentaplaceinFrance.com cannot be held liable for any costs or losses sustained due to the early removal of an advert from the Site. No refunds are given if an advert is withdrawn early on any other grounds.

Personal data displayed on property adverts is limited to contact details such as name and telephone number. Your email address is hidden behind our enquiry form and will only be revealed to an enquirer when you reply to the enquiry.
Any personal data we hold such as name, address, email and telephone number will not be sold or passed on to third parties. The data is securely stored with our hosting company and backup facilities such as GoogleDrive.
We will not retain your data for longer than is necessary to fulfil the purpose it is being processed for, for example unused membership accounts are reviewed and deleted on a regular basis.
Property adverts are taken down on expiry or earlier if requested. These can be held on archive if requested otherwise they are deleted.
If you would like your personal information deleted at any stage then please just let us know and we will remove your data.
